My 30 year old repop power disc brake master cylinder has bit the dust. I want to replace it with a GM correct 346 unit. My cars build date is first week of June 67. Should the unit have the W T stamp on the front pad or is it okay to not be there?

I have found them both ways, I was always under the impression that all used on a power disc brake cars had the W T stamp. I’ve got a message into Mike Gibbons but today being a holiday I don’t expect a return message until later. Thanks,

WT is the correct master cyl for 1967 & 1968 with power disc brakes. I've seen several but I think it was determined that there was no date code in the casting. I would look for one with WT stamped. Mike can get you going in the right direction....Joe

I’ve been wanting to do this change for a long time and had researched this before. I wanted to hear what you guys thought. CRG says the 67 power disc brake Camaros had the W T stamp.

Seeing the 346’s without the W T kinda threw me off. Appreciate it guys.

That’s what I had suspicioned, the ones without WT were replacement units.

			Thanks,
