1967 RS/SS Survivor 63,000 mi.
We are looking for the next caretaker of our 1967 Camaro RS/SS survivor. Butternut yellow with black vinyl top, standard black interior, 350, 2 speed automatic. Born with engine and rear end, transmission may have been changed at some point. Differential has traction bar mount but no traction bar, typical for a first week of January 67 built car.
63,780 miles, believed to be original based on owner use and repair invoices. We have lovingly owned and repaired this car over the last 6 years using factory style replacement parts or NOS when available. Original black plate California car with owner history, protecto plate, sale contract, loan paperwork, invoices, dealer plate frames, NCRS documentation. In 1969 the owner added dealer installed air conditioning. Options include power steering, drum brakes, rear seat speaker, am radio with fader, rear antennae, factory smog set up, tinted original windshield (with California vehicle inspection dated 1974), console with clock, interior decor group, courtesy lamps, speed warning, delux seat belts, mag style wheel covers. All original date stamped body panels, engine recall cables, front and rear spring tags (visible one side). No holes in trunk or floor, factory yellow overspray on underside., canister style oil filter. Mostly original paint with hand painted black pinstripe. Some checking on paint on hood. Original owner drove into a car in a funeral procession and some front end paint work was done. Trunk paint is original. Two spots of rust, one on the bottom of each front fender near the doors. Underside is spotless, as in totally clean bare metal . Interior is original, seats, carpet, door panels, etc. Small tear in headliner, 2 tears in rear seat back from sitting in the California sun. All engine components dated from block to exhaust manifolds, smog, radiator, starter, intake, etc. No options added or deleted. Built at the Van Nuys plant sold into California from Arrow Chevrolet. Vehicle is located on Vancouver Island and has collector plates, registered in my name in British Columbia. Will assist with shipping either across Canada or into the United States. We welcome your inspection and will put the car up on our lift for you to go ove
