Judge favoritism. I was at a show a few years ago and a guy who was buddies with the people (VFW) running the show beat out everyone at the show with his yellow 1994 Mustang 6 cylinder. Now I wouldn't even had been mad if the car was clean, but it was wiped down on the topside of the engine with normal used car dirt in the rest of the engine compartment, and it looked like he ordered most of the JC Whitney catalog for the engine dress up parts including yellow color-keyed hose coverings haphazardly wrapped around said hoses. Some of the other cars there were really nice pieces of work, but this guy won over all of them. Ridiculous.

Just looked at a dozen photos of a 1970 RS/Z28 - all had the license plate in the same location. Ignore front spoiler - not correct

Thasks, Ya, we were on the fence about the chin spoiler. We went with none.
He also had the firewood dash and he had to hunt down a green steering wheel with the rosewood in. Most early cars here in the Detroit area all have that 1974 Z steering wheel on, crazy.
At the time I did his bay, we couldn’t find battery cables, he also left a chrome timing cover on which I hated, and the whole master, lines, booster was painted body color. He removed all the paint but that still all has to be done.

I recently found my buddy the rear loom, it has provision for the spring. ????
The hard-to-find and expensive Holley only throttle cable to carb bracket had an extension that the spring attached to.

Thanks for mentioning the 50's Doo Wop music, ANNOYING .

It is not your age at all. I will be 73 this summer and cant stand the overuse of it. Lets here some Rock and even lots of good 80's stuff.
And......It's to damn loud, we go to the shows and cruise in's to talk to people.

Hey thanks. I’m trying to get pics of his car. It’s even been years since we hung out.
