Ya the last 4 digits of the part number are stamped on the outer hub- 7206

Hello, update for today's hunt. I found the emergency brake cables, dust shields, rotors with E brake's, and the calipers. The things look like very low mileage. Still missing one axle and center section. There is a lot to go through. Any interest in purchasing call me. Thanks, Larry 520-349-2337.

On the axle shaft...the outer part where the wheel center fits around inside the lug nuts, if you look close it says 7206...

I believe they are 13/16" shorter

From a reliable source JL8 axles are 29 11/16" and the stock ones are 30 1/2". Frank is right. Haven't found the second one yet.

Incorrect! stock 12 bolt are not 30 1/2" those would be for second gen Camaro or Chevelle 68-72 I did find this measurement: 67-69 Camaro 12 Bolt = 29 9/16" I could see how 1/8" could be missed depending on how you measure or who measures them
