Hi my name is Ron, just registered today. I kinda have a Pentastar as a heart but love all Muscle Cars. I even owned a nice Stage 1 GS a few years back.
Putting together a copy of my first car a 72 Satellite Sebring Plus. Found this car through a friend last year and it was still in original paint but needed to be freshened up. One of the most solid cars I've ever seen and was very original too. 400HP automatic with A/C and power windows. My first one was a 400HP 4speed that I owned 5 times in my life. Currently cloned into a Road Runner and living in the Mid West. This car was painted in AZ. by my buddy's friend but got damaged in three different places by a worthless shipper on it's way to NJ. Should have it back from the repair and correction work in a week or so. When it arrived damaged I took it apart and so far had the engine compartment done and a bunch of stuff restored. Interior will get completed when I get it back home etc... Have a look if you like. Ron ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Good to have you here Ron. We have quite a few, if they'll admit it, Mopar fans around here (including myself). Your Sebring is looking sharp!

Thanks for the nice welcome!!! Here's my first Satellite from the summer of 77. Anyone from the Brooklyn, Staten Island area would probably remember it.

Awesome car! Gotta love those vintage photos of your old car. Nice shorts!
I had a similar "situation" with a shipper many years ago. I bought a 1969 Hemi Charger Daytona in need of paint, out in California. The shipper decided he could fit one more small car into his enclosed rig if he jammed the nose cone of the Daytona into the front of his trailer. It crushed the Daytona's steel nose cone. The @#$^#^#$ tried to offer me $200 for the damage since the car was going to "need paint" anyway. |
