Is the difference the dent for the smog pump ? If that is the only problem I think a paintless dent guy can remove it.

Thanks anyway. No stamp jobs, reskinning or dent pullers, I like the original real parts.

There is nothing wrong or incorrect to make a 68 to a 67. Its a lot easier then a 67 to a 68. Its still real. Let get real these parts are very hard to find in good condition. If it done right it makes zero difference. Listen to Charlie he has been around awhile.

I have a real 68 cowl plenum air cleaner...I really need a 67 also for my Z. But, heck if I am going to try and beat out the dent..or even get a pro to do it... hate to possibly ruin such a valuable piece...just saying..

For now, I'd go with a 68 or a repro. until you come up with a real one.... good luck !!

Anyone have a recommendation for a metal repro? The application would be for a 66 Chevelle

Try NKR Products out of North Carolina I think. They are very expensive. The Chevelle and Impala units are the same.
