Default STUMPED!! Speedo Gear Reducer Question

OK This one has me stumped. I searched the inter web and came up empty so far. Bought thisa in a lot of parts from a guy who had A LOT of Camaro/Chevelle HIPO stuff. GM Speedometer Gear reducer PT# 6479236 1 : 0.950 Unit has AC Made in USA 45 and the casting date/shift mark. Adapter cable had DX stamp and a SW on the collar (assume Stewart Warner).

Just wanting to know application so it can find the right home, with my luck its off a 95 truck!!! Thanks, Rich!!!
