The SS wheels were standard fare on the COPO Chevelles, but can't say I've ever seen them on a COPO Camaro. Interesting.

I agree Don! The wheels we're used to seeing on COPO Camaros are either rally's or steelies w/dog dish hubcaps.

Pretty sure that is Bob Adcocks car from a ways back. Seen it many times. BEAUTIFUL car and documented. Those rims actually did come on the car. I believe it is on the window sticker. High option car.

Isn't that Joe Z's old COPO that sold at Mecum a few years ago?? wasn't suppose to be the first COPO or the earliest one known to still be around.. Hey Belk how have you been?

These days with cars like this its a very wise move to have someone knowledgable have a look and render an opinion.

Doing great Andy! Hope all is well with you. Yes, that is the car. I cant remember all of the details about the car off hand. It had a bunch of options. I think it was a demo or a GM employees car or something like that.

From memory, if this is Adcock's / Joe Z'S former COPO, I believe that it was an early X22 Code Camaro and the story goes that the dealer Principal pulled some strings to place the special order. If the same Camaro, it was included in Ed C's / COPO Connection book.

Anyone have any more insight on this car? What's correct and what's incorrect? Also, any known issues with it being a REAL #'s matching engine and trans? All comments are very much appreciated. Thanks
