I am looking for anyone that lives or has lived or knows the Fairfield California area. I am looking for any information on a Service Station that was once there. Its now an IHOP from what I have been told. The Service Station was Lew's Shell Service Station 1601N Texas at Travis Blvd, Fairfield California. Any information would be greatly appreciated trying to trace one of my cars that was from that area.

Nasblu,
I live about 45 minutes from Fairfield. Fairfield is a small city next to Travis Air Force Base where I worked for many years. I also have a good friend that has an automotive repair facility in Fairfield. Please send me a PM with what you would like me to try and find out for you. Interestingly the only 1962 corvette to ever race at Lemans was discovered on a used car lot in Fairfield many years ago by Dale Pearman. I believe the lot was also on North Texas. Rick Gower |
