There is an auto museum that has Italian car show every year near me and I always see new Ferraris & Lamborghinis driven in with Montana license plates & this is in Massachusetts I talked to one guy and he says you beat the Mass. sales tax & excise tax the new car dealers must inform the buyers of this scam to sell the cars easier

See Montana tags on a lot of exotics here in NY, pure tax set up as stated above. Not every state ok with this though, I believe VA will hammer you if they pull you over in a car with MT tags and they prove your a VA resident, tax evasion...
