Congratulations on the article Paul and importantly for going the distance on such a challenging project few would dare attempt. You've transformed the 442 and preserved a piece of Newfoundland history. You've made the shop proud!

Now that your Z28 is finished, what are you up to with all of your extra time these days Lloyd?

Between you and Paul......your shop cranks out some incredible product

Thanks Tim, for the kind words. Trying not to hijack Paul's thread, the 67 L71 Roadster is mid-disassembly and the restoration will begin soon. Will need to lean on your deep C2 knowledge in the coming months! Lloyd

Tim
My 68 Z28 is in the corner ready to do final assembly this fall.
Lloyd’s 67 427/435 Tri power Corvette Roadster is in disassembly stage for a full restoration.

Just WOW, Paul, what a herculean effort to restore that car. How in the world do you find an NOS crate engine with the correct date codes ??? I'm always amazed at what the people on this forum come up with and accomplish.
Yes, it is very sad that it wasn't done in time to take Loretta for a last ride, but it seems you made her very happy knowing it had been saved and was being rebuilt. Maybe have a small plaque made to sit on the console for shows..."Custom built for Loretta Burrell" as a memorial.

What a great car and great color. I love the '71 442's.
