1969/70 396 454 Takeoff exhaust manifolds !!

a 178 and 879 manifold w smog..thye are super mint takeoffs and dated sept 69..perfect for 70 L78 69 l78 and even early Ls6 cars you will be hard pressed to find a better set,these are beautiful 1395.00

When you say "TakeOffs" what exactly does that mean? I'm just trying to understand the lingo.

Are the smog threaded holes ORIGINAL, or newly drilled,
in these "Take Off" OEM exhaust manifolds ????

Were not some of the 178/879 castings undrilled and used in NON-Smog applications ???
