Default Mecum Belvidere Auction 5/23-28

Watch for updates as the Mecum show draws nearer. Neat CSX w/ 12K miles, a blue/black/blue LS6 convertible - anyone know this car? Chris White and Jeff Dotterer have inspected it. I also like the wicked looking plain jane, 1963 Pontiac Le Mans Coupe 421 Super Duty.

The Hult LS-6 Convert is well known.
It was discovered then obtained by VOLO,where that pic was taken,in the 1980's,then was advertised in Hemmings frequently by the owner down in Fla.It was bought by John O. who just now had it re-restored by Gary T. and inspected/certified by Chris & Jeff.
It does look very good.

Thanks Rick. Nice color combo. Should fetch a pretty penny.

The car was featured on the cover as well as inside of the book, "Chevrolet Big-Block Muscle Cars" in the "Muscle Car Color History" series. Surprising that Mecum is using the 14+ year-old photos that were in the book to advertise the car, especially if its been re-restored and likely had its emblems straightened.

The little CSX 289 slab-side Cobra is a treat to see. A very high option 289 in beautiful condition. There's something about those early Cobras and their power and beauty, I believe they were really the best Cobras ever made.
