Buckle up in that thing, or slide clear off the seat on a hard left turn....

Reminds me of the old days when I used baby oil on the interior. Did you guys do that also. No armour all back then

Back in the 60's and early 70's we used lemon Pledge.

Yes Bill forgot about the lemon pledge but that was after the baby oil for us and MOP magic on the tires

I went to look at a '66 Corvette (Marina Blue?) years ago; thinking about buying it before I bought my '68. The car was unbelievably clean and shiny. I asked the owner what he used to keep the paint looking so good and he told me he had never used anything but Lemon Pledge. A few months later I bought my International Blue '68 and recalled what that fellow had told me. I tried Lemon Pledge on the Dark Blue Corvette. What an absolute MESS! At first I thought I had ruined the paint. Don't know why it worked for others and not for me but I NEVER used that stuff on a car again.

I don't think that silicon would adhear if sprayed over a well waxed car. If all the wax was stripped, it might stick to the paint better.
No buffing neccessary!

Remindes me of a story a cop told me one time. He went to the scene of an accident. Apparently the guy had just cleaned his truck, used armour all on the interior to include the bench seat. He came around a corner and slid over to the passenger side. Guess he should have been wearing his seat belt. The cop said the truck was totalled and the guy was very embarassed.

The brake fluid was before my time for sure. I did armour all the pedal covers, once, that was an experience.
