Default Pics from Chevy Vettefest

For you guys that couldn't make it to Vettefest.... here are some pics of some of the cars that I really thought were outstanding

First are pics of my friend Jody Schmeisser's 2 outstanding 1966 427 Impalas. He also had quite a display

A really sweet 65 Chevelle Z16

Next, an awesome 1970 Nova

A very nice 1967 SS427 Impala

Next, an awesome Burnished Brown 1969 L78 Camaro. This car was absolutely stunning!

A very fine 1969 L78 Chevelle

Last one.... A real nice Yenko Deuce

That L-78 69 Chevelle is owned by a close friend of mine.
They literally rolled it out of the restoration shop Friday at noon.If you saw it 2 weeks ago,you never would have believed it would make the show in time...It came out verrrrry nice.

Truely a fantastic show this weekend with some of the best looking cars and nicest people around.
Both Bob A. & Tom C. should be commended for coordinating a very well run and attractive carshow
all at a new location to boot! I thought the staff at the Stephens center was quite considerate as well.
I wish I could've run into you Randy as I wanted to meet you..Nice pix!

Thanks Rick for the kind words.... it would have been great to meet you, sorry that didn't happen. But since we live so close to each other, I'm sure we can set something up. I did get to meet two members of this site today though, Bruce Blythe (Xplantdad) and Ken Tibor (Kwhizz) two really great guys....Bruce, your pictures are second to none and I really enjoyed meeting you! Ken, your cars are second to none and I really enjoyed meeting you too!! I'm sure our paths will cross again in Lombard. Keep us all posted on how the resto is going with the 66.

Those '66 Impalas were perfect! Anyone who didn't smile when they looked at those things shouldn't have been at the show.

The Orange Deuce belongs to Mr. Mark Hassett from Ashtabula, Ohio. Fantastic car and a Gentleman of an owner.

Bruce has me under a Gag order on the Burnished Brown car so I can't say anything, but maybe this will get my feelings across!

From what I was told, the Burnished Brown Camaro is owned by a guy named Ken Pascoe. I don't know him personally but he owns one of the finest Camaros I've ever seen. Believe me when I say pictures do not do this car justice.... you really need to see this car in person!

Does anyone have any pictures of the black '67 Z28 that Chris brought from Dallas? It was one of the Chicago Showcase cars.

Wasn't that a couple cars ahead of Bruces vette.
I think George O. does.
