Default 1969 Nova Wheels & Tires

I am thinking about getting a set of American Racing 15x7 TTO's for my 69 Nova. What size tires will fit on the front and rear without any clearance issues? thanks

Charlie, an F70 on the frt is about right although E70x14s were what came on SS novas. G60 is about as big as you can go on the back without clearance issues. The height difference in the size, 70 vrs 60 usually give the car a little frt end rake.

Nice, real nice, I havn't bothered you in a couple of days, and I get sheep. Charley, if your going to race, the M/T G60s will work pretty well, unless you're gonna get crazy and go with cheater slicks.
Mr Howie, please check your mail for the new set of Gibson banjo strings I've sent you, so you can join in with your relation.

Tommy, great looking car. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Are you running the TTO's or the "D's"?

The back spacing on the rear wheels is important. You will need at least 4" back spacing. 4.5" is best. Then 25560R15 will clear. I run 21570R15 on the front. But 225 will fit if you prefer. Earl

I just put 215/14's in the front and 245/14's in the rear of our 1972 Nova SS.

The car is running on some original "CL" 14x7 wheels.
