I'm still looking for a set of 4 steel wheels for 1966-67 Chevy. Need a 1" offset....which would be denoted with an "A" stamped by the valve stem hole.
Thanks, Mark |

I have a set of 4 14x5 wheels off of a 66 Chevelle. They have the A stamped by the valve stem. I also have a pair of 14x5 1/2 JK wheels but there is no A stamped by the valve stem. They came out of the trunk of a 66 SS396 that had slot mags on it. Just kidding

Is there a way to tell when they have tires mounted? I have a set on one of my 66 SS cars but do not know how to tell what width they are when mounted. They do have the A stamped on them.

Jason, There will be an A or A3 on one side of the valve stem and a 6 on the other side. Let me know if that checks out and we'll try a crude measurement as a double check.
Thanks!! |

I think I have a set dated late July 1967, off an early 68 Chevy II Nova with drum brakes. I'll have to check the codes but I'm pretty sure I remember seeing the 'A3'. PM or email me if you need them.
