Lets see the POP! . Note the guy says it's bought by an exec. in '72 and stamped Chevrolet Central Office....not a Production Order! . I'd suspect it could be a shipping destination to the office vehicle pool....nothing to do w/ COPO orders? . When was the POP made and who's name is on it....Central Office? ~ Pete

From the auction. [ QUOTE ]
This car is all original [/ QUOTE ] Another quote from the auction. [ QUOTE ] Near the end of the old guys driving days he stuck the nose of the camaro out into a intersection and got clipped, the damage to the car was both front fenders, grill, radiator support, bumper and other sheet metal was replaced, the hood popped open and was not damaged, the frame horn on the passenger side of the car was bent and the body shop that fixed the car sent it to a frame shop for repairs, the car drives straight with no indication of dog tracking or pulling at all. At the time of repairs the car was totally painted in original rally green that looks very good but is not a show car paint job. [/ QUOTE ] Just how can this car be "all original" when it was wrecked at least once in it's life?? Although "COPO" is mentioned in the title and ad he was very careful not to claim this car as a COPO. I didn't read any sort of COPO claim to this car just the Central Office stamp on the POP. My beef is the all original claim on a car that was wrecked. Rick H. |

Rick....can you read the POP? . I don't see a close enough pic of it....only the one stuck to the booklet? . It'd be nice to see a close-up also one of the engine pad too....is that EE suffix right, I was thinking an M something? . MPO is the seller is a sharpie....the way things are laid out and read, he knows exactly what he's done/doing. ~ Pete

Can't be more than a few '68-'69s in the entire country running those optional wheelcovers.

Here's a closeup of the POP, and a mirror image of it. Doesn't look like any POP I've seen...

I asked him using the 'ask seller a question' for close-ups of both the pad stamping and the POP. ~ Pete
