I always thought that the steering boxes were supposed to be natural,but as you can see mine has a lot of black paint on it.

I don't believe all Leeds cars came that way.Some did,some did not. Also some guys could have painted theirs later on in their garage as time wore on.Can you see how thorough yours is painted around the perimeter,and how far where it bolted to the frame? ![]() |
