Default Speed & Supercar - October 1968

The whole article & cover are now in the gallery. Before, I had uploaded an article from a different magazine, but still about the same car.

Cover
Page 39 ... 43 are up there.

Does anybody know what size tires, front & back, are on that car? The article says "super wide L-series Inglewood Indy-style street tires."

Are you sure about the rear? 70 isn't a very wide tire...

So Joe, I suspect finding a NOS set of those Inglewood Indy tires would be more difficult than those Mallory 7mm wires? What in fact would be the most "correct" replacement tire for those?

I had the Ingelwoods down on my order form, but they were too wide for the '69 Chevelle without drastically pumping up the air bags so the tires would clear, which would destroy traction or do body work, which was done later by Gary---I went for the Prowler Eliminator tire(tall tire) with a red stripe--What's on the car now is ,M/T use to make a tire with a red stripe , that's as close as I could get to a Prowler Eliminator-----
