I was poking around in an old towing yard here in Manahawkin and came across which appear to be a 69 Judge and 66 GTO ragtop under tarps rotting into the ground, also not under cover was a 68 Camaro big block missing engine and tranny without cover rusting into thin air. Anyone know where im talking about?..Ill try to find an owner this week and see whats up..

If they're anywhere near the Jersey shore there probably isnt much left of them. The salt air and sea spray are just like an acid bath, on a daily basis. Very sad.

I think it will be a project finding the owner, They are both covered but they look to have been there for quite some time

Sam can you tell me where they are located? I love looking at old cars like this (not really). There used to be a 1969 Trans Am at a body shop on Rt.9 in Manahawkin. It was rotting away but the owner wouldn't sell; it's gone now but was there for years.

Woody's Garage on Bay Ave. You got to sneak around the back. All kinds of old cars just slowly sinking into the mud there.
![]() Where was the trans am? in Mayetta?

I got somebody checking into ownership here. Nice to have connections. So much for the privacy act

I used to see the Trans Am in the back lot of a body shop on Rt.9 heading from LEH to Manahawkin. I don't recall the body shop's name but I can find that out next time I have to go to Home Depot. My neighbor stopped in one day to ask about the car and the owner said the car belonged to a relative. He said that, when the car was dropped off years ago, it was in pretty decent shape but at the time my neighbor stopped in the shop owner said the car was too far gone. It's no longer there so I am curious about what happened to it.
