I need an exact duplicate of the cam for my Z16 and have contacted the big grinders. "Blueprint" cams seem to be a thing of the past as a few years ago there were quite a few different BB grinds advertised as being duplicates for L72, 78, LS6, etc., etc. Now Crane lists just three. Comp Cams says a bunch of masters were "lost" when Federal Mogul was shaken up.
I have the specs from the Numbers book and a '65 mag. article, but the specs aren't complete enough to grind a cam. Advice? Anyone got an NOS #3873844 GM cam in their sock drawer? Thanks. |
