These are pieces that Ive cleaned with glass media blasting (Dont like/think that finish is near factory) and THEN tumbled in my Ceramic Media Shaker Machine..............

I also done my Z28 Die Cast Valve Covers and Smog Pump Housing...................

Huge difference between DIE CASTINGS and SAND CASTINGS

Last Picture shows LT1 OEM manifold that has been Metal Shot Blasted.....
Im then experimenting with EVERBRITE Perma Clear as a Preservative
or maybe PPG SX501 which I havent tried yet

I need to dull-down some overzealous bead blasting on a manifold. Anyone have a solution for that?

I restored a AL intake using the above method from MCR magazine. Bought the media from Eastwood as mentioned.I think a big player in this is keep the air pressure low like they say. Hot soapy water cleaning then sprayed it with an Eastwood semi gloss product they have. It will protect the finish. If you do get gas on an intake clean it ASAP n don’t let a gas spill stay on it.

I’m a big fan of the vapor blasting.
