GM Factory 1967/1968 rear license plate lamp / light assembly 911242

For sale: One Each GM Restored-Factory installed Camaro Rear License Plate Bumper Light assembly.

This assembly has been thoroughly disassembled and refurbished. The Lamp sheet metal housing was glass beaded, polished and replated Zinc Dichromate [ATSM B38 Zinc Type II yellow chromated]. The wire Boot, Thimble, Spring and Center contact have been removed and refurbished. The Center Positive Contact has been replaced with a New Both Crimped & Soldered. The Factory Wire (BLACK) <*Note I have NOT found ANY other color But Black on Factory 67/68 assemblies> Wire refurbed or replaced. The Packard Series 56 Female metal terminal has been replaced & the Plastic Connector is replaced with New connector. The Tailpan Sheetmetal Body Grommet was groomed and is in two colors Brown or Tan-Gray as found on these original assemblies. Note the Light fixture mounting feet Tang is unique to the 1967/1968 Bumper mounting. Housings have Factory Delco Metal stamping “ SAE 64 & GUIDE 3” on Underside. Original (Piece #3 PN 9414724) Phillips Head #10 Bumper Mounting Screws Supplied in Black Oxide / Manganese Phosphate coating,

1ea avail: With: Original Plastic Lenses ‘plastic-polished’ to remove haze or debris, These are the Small Font PN 5955195 dash (Mold #), Slightly aged Yellowed from Heat, but original.

1ea avail: With: Current Best Reproduction Plastic Lenses, These are the Small Font PN 5955195 dash (Mold #) including the 'tab'.

(NOS) GE # 67, 8 watt Bulb Supplied. Housing Tested using 12VDC power Supply and Proof of operation photo tag attached. GM original WAX (White) Lens Gasket retained and cleaned with Some staining & debris.

Why use offshore repop replacements or Incorrect GM service lamps when the Hard work has been done and ready to bolt on for the Correct as built factory installation.
