Love the look on this car. The wheel/tire setup on the Cherokee Camaro is wider and more aggressive than I’m used to seeing on it now and in some other pics. https://www.bygonely.com/new-york-auto-show-1960s/

Wish that picture of the Californian was color I’m guessing that trailer and truck are yellow also.
My car yellow RAIV 69 bird was towed by a yellow c10 on a yellow trailer also it was a nice look color matched. That Camaro is a good looking car has a great stance in that top photo. You can now colorize photos and even make them have movement with AI. It should really make the old drag car photos interesting soon Last edited by turbo69bird; 12-12-2025 at 10:11 PM. |

Funny how these old cars look more butter nut than Daytona yellow later on.
My car and the 68 GTO Stephens race car look. Mayfair maize ( butternut ) in many old pictures but the 68 GTO was marigold yellow and the 69 bird was goldenrod. Both of which are basically Daytona yellow Similar to how that car looks with its trailer vs how it looks in color at the shows. It’s deceiving. Did a little adjusting . I’d assume it looked more like This … Last edited by turbo69bird; 12-13-2025 at 06:49 PM. |
