Man I hate hood tachs, especially the ‘67 design as they were taller for that first year offering.

Had to do a double take initially when I saw this car, since I thought it was my old GTO!
Interesting auction with all the comments. It seems like the codes for the Ralleye gauges on the PHS with tach don’t match what it’s supposed to be. I think it’s supposed to be code 484 which gives you the “Ralleye gauges with Tach” option (clock and hood tach) yet it doesn’t seem to list that this car even came with Ralleye Gauges at all (code 444)? Am I missing something? Also, no paperwork for the dealer accessory vacuum gauge? Pretty car, nonetheless! Cheers Dave |

Hi Dave,
Bottom line ….. unfortunately this beautiful GTO is a mess. Hood tach information. First two photos are from the 1967 Accessories catalog. Hood tach is a Dealer Install. Third photo is a ‘67 PHS showing column 48 not having a 4 option. Last three photos show a more in depth breakdown of how all the different gauge options were offered. Hope that clears it some.

I think I’m understanding it, I just don’t see the option for Ralleye Gauges whether it be 444 or 484 on the segment of the PHS in the ad, that’s what I’m missing. I see it in the PHS you posted. Wonder why they didn’t post the full PHS? To add to that, how could it get a Concorse Gold if it’s such a mess?

The PHS sheet I posted above was for a ‘67 I once owned. Not sure why they neglected to post all PHS info on this car ?? Sketchy. As far as the Concourse Gold. That was awarded by the GTO Association of America that also has clueless people judging those cars, as proven by this beautiful mess of a ‘67. Sorry for the rant, but this auction was embarrassing for Pontiac GTO fans. Chris.
