Sems to me there is a mixup in the linked thread.
The smaller bracket in middle pic is a match for the one on the Chevelle. Well other than being a bit bent up. Bolts were obviously out on the Chevelle when the Lemans blue lacquer was brushed on, but all have orange paint showing. Pulleys and alt brackets also got the blue treatment. Upper pully getting the old Aircraft stripper treatment. Did not take pics of the bell bolts but this is one of the end exhaust manifold bolts. Bell bolts were in better shape. |

ALLZS, Is your ORANGE Eng Paint Duplicolor and their Aeresol Primer or Gun Paint ??
I believe Mike Steitz would say that Chevrolet Assy Line didnt install and then remove bolts in a situation like your question..........see this picture of his Platinum/LEGENDS award winning 70 Z28...........

If post 5 is correct there is a possibility that the bolt is different.
Would have to be with harness methinks. Interesting . Another tidbit to look for. |
