Default Conroy Pontiac Cheetah Conversions - 1968 & 1969

Hi everyone!
Wondering if anyone has stories or information on the cheetah conversion Beaumonts that came from Conroy Pontiac? Specifically the 1968 and 1969 cars.
There has been a few posts on here about a few 66 and 67 cars around, a close friend of mine George is the owner of the 67.
From my research with some of the local car guys, there was actually 3 conversion cars for 1969! Two of them being 4-speeds, one an automatic.
Documentation to prove there was in fact three 1969 conversions done.
One 4-speed car location is known and undergoing some final restoration work.

As per Canadian Poncho;
46 Cheetahs were made 21 Beaumont Cheetahs stayed in BC the other 25 where shipped to Conroy Pontiacs main office in St Catharines On. The BC production was 8 in 1966, 7 in 1967, 6 in 1968, Of the 25 that where shipped to St Catharines there was no mentioned of how many of each year was sent to the home office. The Cheethas in BC had the following engines, 2 with 283's the balance had the L78 375HP or the 427.

Came across a fellow Canadian who has built a fantastic recreation of the 69 Cheetah.

I have seen one around Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, BC. I do not think it is George's car.

One of the 3 1969 Cheetah conversion cars.
Located here in BC.
It’s the blue/purple looking one from the first post.
Hopefully get more information soon! Stay tuned.

Way cool, love to see/hear more about it!
Other than purple car + bright green replica, are all other pics above the same dark green car?
First post plate # same as drag pics, towbar shot could be a different car but decals seem exact w/ orange added?
I have a bunch of Old Newspaper Ads saved w/ Cheetahs but most are ‘66 cars.
Here’s a few ‘69 Ads incl. one on Conroy’s lot 02/70 w/ a ‘69 T/A plus a 10/70 Ad for a ‘70 Tempest Cheetah?
Are any ‘68 Cheetahs known?
Looking forward to more also anything Conroy!
