This one-of-a-kind custom 1974 Ford Bronco is the ultimate street crawler with its radical appearance and modern equipment. As the VIN number indicates this Bronco was originally built with a V8. It was found on a ranch in Wickenburg, AZ and purchased by professional baseball player Andre Ethier who played for the L.A. Dodgers from 2006-2017. Andre collaborated with award winning builders All Ways Hot Rods located in Phoenix, AZ. The vision of the build was to create a Bronco like no other with extreme fabrication and attention to detail throughout. This Bronco would also pay tribute to Shelby American with racing stripes. The no expense spared restoration started in 2011 and was completed in 2013. It made its debut at the Goodguys Nationals at West World in Scottsdale, AZ. The body was taken to bare metal and countless hours were invested making it spectacular. Some of the custom work includes the hood, front and rear roll pans, metal fenders, lower air vents and side steps. It was refinished in Washington Blue with Wimblemton White racing stripes that are outlined with red pinstripes. All new tinted glass was installed including a flush-mounted front windshield. The custom bullet mirrors, hood pins, headlight bezels, door handles, front and rear bumpers were re-finished in brushed silver. The LED headlights and taillights provide great visibility. This Bronco sits on 22” EVOD 5 multi-spoke wheels with two-tone brushed finish that were designed by Jimmy Smith. The wheels are wrapped with new Renegade Radar 325-50-22 tires that look aggressive. The interior houses a custom roll bar and dash that were both painted the exterior color. The interior design and craftsmanship was completed by Armando’s Rod and Customs Upholstery Shop. The custom front 60/40 split bench seat, rear jump seat, door panels and waterfall style speaker boxes were upholstered in Bentley Navy Blue leather and suede with diamond pattern white stitching. The floors were covered with custom matching carpeting and molded floor mats. Some of the custom brushed silver interior appointments include the sun visor supports, dash vents, door handles, steering column and steering wheel. Some of the custom interior features include Classic Instrument gauges, Vintage Air Conditioning, stereo system, Crow Enterprises seat belts, covered switches for starting, lights and power windows. The rear cargo area was outfitted with a fully upholstered enclosure that houses stereo equipment, the battery and fuel filler with storage space. The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout with many custom parts. The custom fabricated cowl, smoothed firewall, inner fenders and radiator support were painted the body color. This Bronco is powered by a Smeding Performance built 347 V8 rated at 440HP. The engine has AFR aluminum heads, brushed silver valve covers, Imagine Stack Cross Ram Fuel Injection and Vintage Air front runner pulley system. The engine is cooled by an A&M aluminum radiator that is connected to the high hoop tubular shock mount. The radiator has a brushed silver top hose and dual electric fans. The engine breathes through ceramic coated headers and exhaust system with Borla mufflers. The engine is coupled to a 4R70W automatic transmission with Huges Performance pan, cooler and custom cross member. The power is transferred to a Currie Nodular rear end with 4.56 gears and Atlas transfer case. The undercarriage is also highly detailed throughout with many custom parts. The floors were refinished in blue Rhino Liner for durability. The painted chassis was outfitted with tubular high hoop shock mounts for extended travel with IBP King Shocks. It has a custom built front sway bar with Rough Country pass through stabilizer bar. It’s equipped with power steering and Baer 4-wheel disc brakes with 6-piston calipers, drilled and slotted rotors. A custom hard top stand is included. This vehicle has been fully serviced and detailed. From the MS CLASSIC CARS Collection.
