Sycamore IL show 7/30

Haven't been able to make this one in several years but signed up for this year. Usually a pretty large turnout of cool stuff that completely takes over the entire downtown area. Sycamore is close enough to the Chicago suburbs that it draws a good group of cars from that area along with many of the local small town stuff that isn't seen too much. Get there early if you want a decent space on the main street.

When I lived in the area, I went to that show several times....always an excellent event.

Over 850 cars registered - perfect weather. Didn't take a ton of pictures just grabbed a few of cars that caught my interest.

Probably the 2 most interesting cars in the show for me were the Survivor 66 Corvette - odd color combination with Nassau blue paint and a dark blue interior and the 68 Corvette Bronze car 435 Horse car. Usually not a fan of 68's but this one was pretty uniquely optioned and the interesting colors with the TT's made it stand out.

Great pics, thanks for posting! I notice the '3D Sound' van behind Dan's GTO convert.....they have been providing entertainment at Northern IL car shows for as far back as I can remember.
