I need to purchase the lower control rod GM #3955776 (stamped 5776) for a 1969 396 or 427 4 speed interlock or backdrive linkage. Someone out there has to have it!

Thanks for your reply, Steve. That would be my last resort if I cannot find an NOS or excellent used one. I knew from the website that if anyone would have it, you'd be the Guy! Don.

I have one from a 69 Camaro, 350 4-speed (Muncie) car that I parted 20 years ago, but it has no numbers on it.

Thank you for your reply, Mike. I already have one unstamped that I thought was for a big block but compared exactly to my brother's Z/28 rod (same as 350) that is numbered 5773. I will consider a trade for the correct used & stamped big block lower control rod, though. Sincerely, Don.
