1968 chevelle ss with M22
Was the M22 only available with the L78 in 1968? i know of a car with the supposed born with L78 engine that unfortunately got decked in an older rebuild. i figured that if the cars V.I.N. was stamped on the M22 that it could help to document it's L78 status. has correct heads and intake. wrong dist., carb though. How much is it to have a place use the methos they use to try to recover the numbers on stolen guns? thanx mike

68 Chevelle L78...
Pretty sure the same thing applied to the L78 Nova in 1968...M22 only if you had the 375hp motor.
