Been thinking of building one for a while now. One of these days.
Looks like it was a fun event.

Hi-RPM and 4-speeds (and no electronics)!
Southeast Gassers OFFICIAL Race Recap Myrtle Beach, SC Event 10-14-17 Watch the Southeast Gassers take over the Myrtle Beach Dragstrip with some insane wheels up, gear banging, straight axle, first to the finish line action. The Southeast Gassers put on a heck of a race and this one was no exception. More videos here: https://www.youtube.com/user/quainst...able_polymer=1

I've got a really rough '67 Chevelle that's going to get the gasser treatment eventually. It was a 327 4 speed car, but it's just a shell now. I've got another 427, M20 and a 12 bolt to go in it. I've been looking for an old one piece fiberglass front end to go on it. I've watched them run a Beech Bend several times and I like it.

I bought my 55 Chev Gasser from Stephano @ Nickey 4 years ago. If there is 1 car every gear head should drive/own at least once it's a Gasser....what a hoot!

Great racing (and camera angles) in this season finale.
The Southeast Gassers take over the Shadyside Dragway in Shelby NC for their final event of the 2017 racing season. The crowds of spectators were not disappointed with the 60's style drag racing of days gone by. Come with us on a ride into 1967 when drag racing was cool and the drivers were trying to tame their machines on every run.
