Default Greetings from Spring, TX

Hey Gang,

I was forwarded to this site by a friend of mine who has a COPO Chevelle and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dave and I live in Spring, TX. In the current stable is a 1969-1/2 A12 Super Bee and a 1964 Corvette Convertible. My buddy Phil's Chevelle is actually on the cover of the MCACN magazine this year!!

My Bee gets picked up today for the MCACN show and will be in the Barn Find section. I'm way excited! And something even cooler is my wife was chosen as a finalist for the amateur modeling contest at the show! How cool is that?!?!?! This will be my first time coming to the show and I'm looking forward to it.

Hope to meet some of you guys at the show and I'll be hanging around the site some. Looking forward to chatting with you all!

Cheers

Dave

Hi Dave,

Welcome aboard as we say. Dave and I flew together back in 2001 at Trans World Aiirlines. Both of our jobs there were short lived after 9/11, but we quickly find other flying jobs that have allowed us to pursue this great hobby.

Dave has been an avid muscle/classic car enthusiast since I met him. He has done multilpe restorations over multiple make and model cars. We have stayed in touch since the TWA days, sharing our car and flying experiences.

There is a great wealth of information, stories, experiences and contacts with the members on this site; you will find something of interest every time you stop by. The folks here are great as you will soon find out at MCACN.

We look forward to seeing you and your car at the show.

Welcome.

Phil W.

Thanks Guys! Reliable just showed up and I drove the Bee onto the trailer. Next stop, MCACN!

Looking forward to meeting some of you at the show, and Phil, it's been 13yrs since we've seen each other. I still remember that trip we did since we started the trip in PIT where I met you down in ops, and after figuring out we like spending stupid amounts of money on rust, hit Duffy's in Cedar Rapids! Good times....

Since I'm the newbie and only know the Woj-man, if you come to the show go to the "junk" section and say hey. I've been looking forward to this show all year.

Cheers
Dave

Drove it on the rig myself...and backwards to boot!

You know how the shipper sheets have a generic car that the driver will note scratches and dings on? I just had him draw a big circle around the whole diagram!

Cheers
