After doing some digging I'm curious as to why YS760 is marked as known but yet the vin and color code is incorrect? I would assume if it were known that that info would have been correct.
While I'm at it why is there mulitple lists of sYc cars? Here and also here stickied at the top. https://www.yenko.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=93 What is interesting is that list has the vin 247971 as YS760 and 247797 is on the list but yet it has question marks. Just seems odd to continue to have multiple lists it can be confusing.. Just an outsiders perspective. Last edited by cook_dw; 06-29-2018 at 12:37 AM. |

My 4K car is 7N230691 on this list. I first saw it on a list in a Muscle Car Review mag I think 2011. Warren D. said he had no info on it and it was not shipped to Yenko but to Jackshaw in Euclid, OH. Ed C. said he had no info but I was told he was the person who first made the list.
It was removed from the sYc list after I spoke to Bergy about it which I fine with me. I never spoke to the guy in the mid west about it, can’t think of his name now. My car is a plain Jane SS like some of the other cars and it’s build date is near the Jay Kline units. Why is it on the list? Someone tell me please. Richard

I believe there was at least one L78 that was not converted, but was on the list.
Is there a dash on the trim tag after the 4K - under the 2 ? |

Richard's VIN was on some of the supercar data bases for many years. We don't know how the entry came about, but our public registry states that it was probably a typo at some point. The YS number formerly linked to it belongs to a different, legitimate known car. We left the VIN on our registry with the note that the owner agreed that it was not a supercar so that anyone who finds the VIN on one of the old "lists" can refer to our registry and see that it is noted as an old typo - not a supercar. The entry is basically a "memory jogger" so that when someone compares "lists" and "discovers" VIN 7N230691, we remember that it was a typo.
The color and options for YS760 have been corrected for the next posting update (probably in September). |

I’m okay with others calling it “typo” but- - same type of engine combination, same build time frame. A typo could have been any car.
No it doesn’t have the dash after the K. I don’t know what your referring to under the 2. Back in 2011 JoeC really helped me a lot telling me different things to look for on my car and I thank you very much Joe. If I could just get to the original owner maybe I could shake this thing out and find out for sure one way or another. In the meantime I’m going to get it out n burn the tires every chance I get! Drive em n enjoy em! Best regards to all,
