Wilkerson mentioned the staging thing yesterday and made reference to heading to the 'Circus' when he won at Gainesville. Personally, I don't like it. Just another marketing fiasco for NHRA and Bruton. Fewer actual races and most likely more TV hype and sponsorship plugs.
I still go back and watch the earlier races I have on VCR tapes. Remember Diamond P on TNN? Those were the GOOD times when the coverage was about racing.

Would love to be there just to hear this ! [/ QUOTE ] My thoughts exactly! Must have sounded great in person. That being said, I have serious reservations about safety with four cars on the track at the same time. Recipe for disaster. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. I hope I'm wrong.
