Was at a friend's shop earlier today.
He pulled out two(2) 12 Bolt axle housings. One was coded BL 1220G1 ( no E below ) Dated K-8-7 The other was this: C BS 0930G2 .........E <-----E being under the 9 Date coded I-26-9 Center casting number of 3969341 NF What does he have??? ![]()

I was looking at that but you didnt have the C prefix codes listed. I suppose I understand that one should just add the C prefix to the 2 Alpha codes to determine the 69-1/2 codes. Did you get my emails??? ![]()

Most of these later axles (10 or 12 bolt) would have also been stamped with the 1970 style three digit application code (e.g. CBT instead of just BT). I thought it would have been confusing to add the extra codes in the table. But next time I edit that page, I'll try to make that part clearer. Yes, got your email.
