Default Musclecar Photographs mrays

I should call this musclecars and more, but that's too wordy. Most of my photos are of musclecars, but I have some photos of some pretty cool modified vehicles and some fast street legal racecars as well so I might include a few of those. I have literally hundreds of photos, so I'll just post the best cars and photos. I hope you guys enjoy them.

Here are a few musclecars from Super Chevy Indy 2008:

E. Coffel's L34 4 speed 66 Chevelle SS. This is a Gold Class car that he showed for a few years on the Super Chevy circuit in the Midwest. The car is in storage now and he has a 67 Chevelle SS street machine that he brings to local cruise-ins occasionally.

The Landis' L34 4 speed 70 Chevelle SS. This is another Gold Class car that they showed for a couple of years at the Super Chevy shows in Indy and Norwalk.

The Fields' L34 automatic 69 Chevelle SS. He won the Chevelle Stock class that year.

The Brown's L34 69 Chevelle SS. I've seen this car at a number of Super Chevy and Goodguys events. I believe it was at MCACN as well.

B. Adcock's 71 Z/28 was a numbers matching 4 speed car with documentation. He won the 2nd Generation Camaro Stock class that year.

The Myshock's 73 Z/28. He was the R/U in the 2nd Generation Camaro Stock class at Indy then won at Norwalk that year.

Thanks for the pics, and I vote that you post up all of your pics, even the modified stuff.

I think we're all on the same page for the most part and appreciate any pics you can post, thanks again.

You must be around the Plymouth South Bend area if you see Ed's cars at cruise ins.

Here are a few modified vehicles from the same show:

The Crowder's 71 pickup is a factory big block truck and is one of the nicest I've seen of it's generation. It won Best Modified and Best Truck that year.

M. McAllister's 55 Bel Air was a regular at Super Chevy Indy and Joliet. It has a small block with a 4 barrel and was detailed to the max. It won the Best Street Tri-Five that year.

T. Niesley's 67 Chevelle is an L34 with a 4 speed. This car was featured in the June 2008 issue of Muscle Car Review. I believe this is an original owner car. It won Best Street Chevelle that year.

S. West's 72 Chevelle SS was another regular at Super Chevy Indy and Joliet. It has a 462 with a Street & Performance EFI setup. It won Best Modified Chevelle, Best Chevelle and Outstanding Engine of the show. This is another car that was always detailed to the max.

The Osborn's 63 Nova came all the way from NC. It had a bolt on front clip and a small block with a 4 speed. It won Best Modified Nova and Best Nova that year.

Doesn't get much better than that; very nice.

Here are a couple of race cars from the same event.

I don't know anything about this 61 Corvette other than that it ran high 9's.

The Alford's sleeper 66 Chevy II. This is one of my favorite second gen Chevy II race cars.

A clean and fast Grecian Green 68 Nova. The owner had a similar Hugger Orange 68 Nova that was a regular at Super Chevy Indy until he wrecked it. This was it's replacement.

Dick Messino's "Shake, Rattle & Run" 57 Bel Air driven by Mike Lopez. This car has been around since the 60's. I remember seeing it at Super Chevy Indy in the mid 80's when it had a big block with Hilborn injection and NOS. When this picture was taken it had a nitrous injected 632 and was running high 6's.

Here are a couple of muscle cars from the Super Chevy in Norwalk OH in 2008.

This is R. Hoeft's 62 Impala. It is a numbers matching car with 11K miles. It is a Gold Class car that won Best of Show at this event. It was also at MCACN once. I believe it was a part of the Class of 62 Display.

The Hunsaker's 66 Chevelle SS with an L35 and a powerglide. This is the only Mist Blue 66 Chevelle that I have ever seen. It was the runner up in the Chevelle stock class at this event.

The Robison's 66 Chevelle SS with an L35 and a 4 speed. This one is another seldomly seen color Cameo Beige. It was the winner in the Chevelle stock class and also won the Award of Excellence at this show.
