Re: STOMPF CHEVROLET Dayton Ohio
Unless you're positive on the spelling, Stumpf w/ a 'U' seems more possible in this area w/ connections to the automotive world?.

Re: STOMPF CHEVROLET Dayton Ohio
Cool on the guy's 'Vette, is it a L72 Coupe?.
If worth pursuing, as previously mentioned try searching Stumpf w/ a U in the Dayton area as Google yields a few possibles involved in automotive related businesses there.. One Stumpf has a towing shop also another works at a Honda dealer so who knows what info one quick call may provide?. There's a Stumpf Ford dealer in Wisconsin too.. Good luck!. Stomps Chevrolet
I grew up in Dayton went to high school 3 blocks from Stomps Chevrolet. A guy in my class (1965) family owned Stomps Chevrolet. His name is Jerry Klopf. A guy in the class, Bill Nylan, bought a new ‘65 roadster from stomps in April 1965, Rallye Red,327,4 speed. Stomps was a low volume dealer in downtown Dayton, an old dealer in a tall brick building on Main St. I doubt they sold many Corvettes. They closed up a couple years later. Maybe the guy you talked to has this car!
