1969 Camaro Super Stock race car
This plane jane Daytona Yellow 1969 Camaro was was raced in the 70’s, back halved and has sat ever since. Seller says it’s a clean rust free car… with incredible patina and loads of character just begging for a fresh drivetrain.
Don’t know if the link is gonna work, but it’s on marketplace in Belleville, OH for $30k. Hard to find a zero rust Camaro for that price, let alone one with this much history and potential. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...6391815083467/

I saw that one on Facebook. People were bashing him for pricing it high. If he doesn't sell it he's going to make a pro touring car out of it. I sure hope that doesn't happen. I'd love to have it and race it like it is, but I can't pay that much for it.

I believe this is an old Ault & James Super Stocker. Seller had it at GoodGuys Columbus today. Didn't look it over real close but it definitely will take some work to get it back to track or street use.

Hoping to cash in on the high prices being paid for other cars. I'd prefer to see it preserved too, but as a plain jane, it's not worth the price of a SS or COPO shell.

Is it worth $30k???.....that all depends on what the end result is going to be.....hell, a bare Dynacorn shell is $15k+.....by the time you pay taxes, crate fees and have it shipped.
My personal opinion is to take the car and build a high revving SBC, Muncie, 4.56 gears....big wheels/tires out back and skinnies up front.......then make it safe to drive. It would be a great crown pleaser. I’d think $10k could get that done. IMO I just looked on Facebook and it’s sold! Kurt |
