Saw that at Mecum Indy. I’ll just say it looks a lot better in those photos than it was in person.

A little late to the party but while looking for another pic, I found this from Mecum Indy 2022.

K5 cst
A friend and I were talking about the Steve McQueen K5 selling awhile back and he told me about K5 he bought 7 years ago for his son. One owner low mileage original appearance except tire and small lift kit CST cab 350 automatic with factory AC. $16,000.00 and to beat it all it was local to me and I’d never seen it.

Way too much Green and the GMC front clip conversion is a big put-off for me.

Celebrity ownership doesn't do much for me, even Steve McQueen.
The exception would be a "movie" vehicle that was purchased by the actor after the film was completed. Examples: The Mustang from Bullitt (which he did not buy) The motorcycle from The Great Escape (don't believe he bought it). The Ferrari that McQueen drove in The Thomas Crown Affair. He actually DID buy this one. Not sure where it is today.
