Does anybody know this car?
A friend of mine was the original owner of this Boss 429. He tried to race it in Pro Stock but had trouble getting it to run quick enough to be competitive. He sold it due to a divorce with an extra engine that Ford provided for him. Every time I see a Boss 429 this color I try to find out if it's this car.

Was the sponsoring dealership in Kentucky? Any info on when it was sold? I can put it up on Lost Muscle Cars on Facebook.

As far as I know it was sold through Lester Motors in Central City KY. That's what's on the front fender. I worked at Lester Motors as a mechanic for a little while. It's closed now and the building is now the KY Motorsports Museum and Hall of Fame. There is another Ford dealer listed on the quarter panel in Madisonville KY, but I don't remember it.

Darrell Cook sent me a message this morning and said that the dealer on the quarter panel is Blanchett Motors in Hardinsburg KY. He also pointed out what looks like Jenkins' Camaro in the background. Raymond Ellison was the original owner, but I don't see him in the picture. He also raced a black with white stripe '69 Z28 for several years. That car is still around here.

Well it looks like the car has been found in Minnesota, and I see that Raymond has been posting on that facebook page, so he know about it too. Thank you very much for the link and information. KK1395.
