Default 68 302 restamp?

This looks suspicious to me.

Pad looks ok to me.

Do you have a full pad photo?

No. I don't see broach marks and I see grind marks. I don't know much about fonts, so I can't tell if it's real or not.

Broach marks on the left look good.
Maybe ground off the suffix and re-stamped just the 3 and the MO?

Grinder marks are definitely suspicious in my opinion.

Looks like the 3MO are a deeper stamp and a different font.

Looks to me like the curved grind marks were done over the stamps. looks OK to me but someone with a data base of stamps can come up with a close date to compare.

Although it is a date I did not have previously the ones around that assembly date match up. Agreed someone hit the pad with something but after the stamp. My opinion.

Maybe they were just cleaning the paint off the pad! I’ve seen dumber things done!

I didn't want to call the guy out until I was sure. He's selling it as a real MO 302 on a page that I moderate.

I've seen this pad before. It's an original.
