Does anyone have some photos of a 70Z underside representing possible black primer????

Carl, The underside of a VanNuys car is all Black primer, the same as a Norwood car being Red Oxide. So I'm not sure where you have possible Black primer.

My car is completely black primer but I am not sure if it should be "completely" black or just the pans etc

Completely, The whole body was dipped in a tank of Black primer, if you look under the dash it is even Black, your car sounds correct.
