Wow, the cars seem to be bringing BIG $ No?
Boss 302 Mustangs going for $200k plus for example? |

While Blazer/Bronco/Jimmy/ECT prices have gone crazy, I'd rather have one of those than a '69 Z/28. Especially for tens of thousands of dollars less.
Bought a '75 Blazer project for $500. A Z/28 in the same condition would have been 30k+. I've got a barn full of them just waiting for me to do a hacktacular restoration on them. |

Dang that K5 brought back some memories. Parents had a 76 same color only with white side insert.

there were some amazing low mile 70s-80s trucks there.
They sold for more then twice what the low mile 70s-80s Corvettes sold for |

Yeah, more than one brought over that magic $200K mark. Wasn't expecting all of that.

The LS6 cars didn’t do so great at Mecum and I probably know why. It’s because there were about 50 of them it seemed and my guess is by far most of them were fake and brought the value down of the real ones. You don’t see a bunch of fake Boss 302 and 429 cars and Shelbys. |

Where is this vin plate ? The one on the door, that states it's NOT to be used to title the car ? I've worked on/rebuilt 9 first gen Mustangs now and haven't found a real vin tag on any of them. The vin stamp on the left apron is the only other identifier I've found and up here, many of those are rusted away. The ones that were still viable, I incorporated into the replacement aprons.
