Oil with ash help

My friend has a 70 chevelle 454 and the motor has 13 1/2
compression motor (not the orig one) and was running 20/50
oil.He was using the GM additive to compensate for the ash.
Now its no longer available,What motor oil or additive would now be availiable to replace the GM additive???

Do you mean zinc?
i've been using valvoline VR1 oil, it has added zinc.
Kendall GT-1 is also good.
