My friend has a 70 chevelle 454 and the motor has 13 1/2
compression motor (not the orig one) and was running 20/50 oil.He was using the GM additive to compensate for the ash. Now its no longer available,What motor oil or additive would now be availiable to replace the GM additive??? PJ |

Do you mean zinc?
i've been using valvoline VR1 oil, it has added zinc. Kendall GT-1 is also good. or use this additive, http://www.zddplus.com/ |

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
