Default My LS-6 Needs The Correct Choke Rod?

My choke rod will not line up with the arm on my Holley 4557 carb can anyone help? My carb has been totaly restored, and it seems that the arm is a different one than which was originally on carb! The new arm is flat and the old one zig zag.

Don't know who did your resto....but, Eric Jackson (Vintage Musclecar Parts) is the man to check with...You can click on his link on the top of the page or post a question in his sponsor thread. This guy is the best

John,
You've already located your problem. The correct choke lever mounted to the carb should be stepped outwards, or zig zag if you will.
