Default new car show

Hey guys,
I've been on this website since 02 or so. Even though i dont do much posting i'm always on here reading about all the cool stuff going on with everybody.
A production company approached my partner and i about doing a new TV show. We all went over it and realized
that this is a NON scripted show showing REAL muscle car stuff. The real world.. We are in the middle of doing a Car for Mike Alstott of the Tampa Bay Bucs and are filming
future episodes as we speak.
Heres a link to a few blips of the show that the producer posted on youtube. Let me know what you think and if you have a few good ideas maybe we can include them in future episodes. The first episode has gone to the networks and We are sure that they will air as there has been a ton of interest in it ! lets hope it all goes well and maybe we could see SYC in a TV episode!!! (as long as SYC says its ok...) anyway. Let me know what you think....
thanks ! steve

Thank GOD there is a show on the EAST COAST! About damn time! I have gone to Carlisle many years in a row to a lot of shows and been to so many car shows in my area to know that all of the Shine isn't on the WEST COAST! There are so many Hobbiests/Restorers on the East Coast that have had to deal with rot boxes more then out West. Show them how it's done guys!

Ditch the obnoxious music and you have a real nice show. I am by no means an old fart (yet) but the moment I hear that screaming crap coming out of the speakers, I'd turn the channel.

Please remember that the show is about cars, not music. We have enough of the rockstar/MTV/Cribs/drama genre. It is about time we had some good old fashioned entertaining car shows again.

Looks real good to me. I agree that there are some "East Coast" builders out there that can bring it..BKH

I'll second Steve on the music. If you have to have it, at least use period stuff. $150K cars are nice to see, but cars that people can identify with would also be nice. Some drag strip action is always nice too. For heavens sake, no phoney deadlines, and bickering. That gets old real fast, and is the number one reason that I don't watch a lot of the shows.

I'd like to see a muscle car show that teaches us how to do correct restorations..you know..how to get that correct semi-gloss black or how to decode a real L78 car. That's what I want to see.

Yep, could you imagine njsteves Trans Am restoration turned into a continuing series or the beautiful '65 Belair that was just completed on this site as a series? I would love to be able to see, realistically no fake deadlines as someone already pointed out, how to do some of the things you guys do. I could record it on my DVR and refer to it if I ever decided to try my hand at some of the projects.

Also, keep the cars within the normal guys reach or at least something we can relate to. I don't care to see cars costing hundreds of thousands of dollars since I can never hope to own or build anything worth that kind of money.

Wow...he does have a pretty big ego...sounds like he's been pretty successful...

As far as the opening for the show...I agree with NJSteve...the music sounds like the music from a Playstation 2 car chase game...If you are going to have music...have it appeal to a WAY larger audience...you know, an audience with disposable income for things other than 10,000 watt stereo systems!
