Default Sidepipes

When Motion added sidepipes to the Camaro was the part of choice from the 67 Corvette?

I think they did probably up till 69. Then in 70 I recall seeing mostly the Hooker Header type.

the 67 Corvette side pipe was used on some 70s and maybe later. The Hookers were used also. This was probably left as an option to the customer

Do they make a header/sidepipe combo for a 68 Camaro BB? I've never seen one.

-----So did O.K.Kustom out of Michigan. OK actually did headers and sidepipes for sale thru GM dealerships with GM part #s. I bought two or three sets for Corvettes that way. They were more performance oriented than the Hookers I think. I believe OK also made Camaro undercar headers for Camaro small-blocks with GM part #s on them. I dont know, however if they made Camaro header-sidepipes....Bill S

Motion Performance was also a Hooker Header dealer and had full listings of Hooker products (for all makes) in some of the MP catologs

...I wonder how much horsepower is lost running through the mid-year corvette side exhaust with the S-pipe used to connect the headers to the mufflers...

Weren't the side exhaust also chambered which would decrease power as well?

Oh yeah - but it is a small price to pay for sounding sh*t hot!
