Default Starter

Hello, Maybe someone here can identify a starter I found while cleaning the garage...# 1108352 dated 1 E27 8 which I believe to be 1971 may 27...came off a big block motor I had a few years back...would appreciate the help.....by the way it does have what looks to be a aluminum "nose cone"...and the mounting bolts are off set....it did work fine when removed. Thanks Much

Default Re: Starter

Hi Jim:
I show that number as being a cadillac eldorado, chevy motor home or olds toronado but the al housing on a original 352 the bolts would go in horizontal like the early chevy trucks not verticle like a BBc starter. Some one may have changed the nose at one time also. take care joe
